Music Ministry

Music Ministry is a vital part of liturgy and life at St. Andrew's.
There are a few ways to get involved:
The Adult Choirs
These choirs preside at both the 9:00 am and 11:30 am Masses. Anyone from junior high school through adult who possesses the desire and ability to sing is invited to join. The 9:00 choir rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 pm (except during the summer). The 11:30 choir rehearses Sunday mornings from 10:00 - 11:15 am (except during the summer). Both choirs occasionally combine forces for special feasts and celebrations.
Resurrection Choir (Informal)
These singers encourage musical participation by the assembly at funeral Masses. This choir is open to all parishioners who are frequently available during the day. Anyone desiring to help with this ministry should call Mary Kennedy at 977-4247.
Cantors
Through posture and gesture, cantors encourage musical participation by the assembly at Mass. Prior vocal experience and ability to read music is helpful. A short audition is required. Time Commitment: rehearsal and Mass schedule flexible.
