Young Adult Ministry

What is Young Adult Ministry?

Young adulthood is a passage of life when new decisions are made, paths are taken and a place is established in one's community. Young adult ministry is for those in their twenties and thirties (singles or young families) with varied professions and goals. It provides an opportunity to share friendship, fellowship and faith with other Catholic Christians. Young adult ministry encourages people to interact among themselves within the parish and beyond. A mark of the ministry is hospitality. Everyone is welcome. The ministry is organized by young adults with the support of parish staff, and provides a forum for social, spiritual end educational activities.

Currently, St. Andrew's does not have an active Young Adult Ministry group. If you are interested in starting this ministry, please contact the parish office at 344-9814.

Becoming A Lector >>
Pronounce the word of God to the entire church! There are generally three readings during mass. The first two are read by Lectors.

Becoming A Eucharistic Minister >>

Eucharistic Ministers assist in distribution of the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Becoming An Altar Server >>
Altar servers assist the priest during liturgies, usually at weekend liturgies.

Become a Proclaimer for Children's Liturgy of the Word >>

Become a Catechist
