Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults - RCIA
RCIA is a sacramental process that provides on going formation and conversion of those seeking initiation into the Catholic Church. Either the non-baptized (catechumen), those baptized and coming from other traditions, (candidates) or those baptized in the Catholic Church but have not received all Sacraments of Initiation.

Becoming A Lector >>
Pronounce the word of God to the entire church! There are generally three readings during mass. The first two are read by Lectors.
 
Eucharistic Ministers assist in distribution of the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Becoming An Altar Server >>
Altar servers assist the priest during liturgies, usually at weekend liturgies. 

Become a Proclaimer for Children's Liturgy of the Word >>
Gather with our children and reflect on the first reading and the gospel during the Liturgy of the Word at mass! Call the Parish Office at (540) 344-9814 to inquire.

Become a Catechist
There is no better way to learn about and deepen your faith than to share and celebrate that faith with our children and youth. We need catechists to work with all age groups.
