Immediate Need - October 8, 2009
Recently, several children and adults from RIS refugee families have come down with the flu.  some of these families do not have money to buy medication and their medicaid does not cover the cost of the medicine.  Items that are needed are:
1.  Fever-reducing medication for both adults and children, such as Ibuprofen.
2.  Daytime and night-time medication that treat flu and cold systems (nausea, headache,      congestion, cough, etc.).
3.  Pedialyte (for children) and Gatorade (for adults) for electrolytes and to keep people hydrated.

Generic brands are find.  All medication must be new and sealed in the original container.  Please take all donations directly to Refugee and Immigration Services at the address above.
